New technology to help keep our patients and staff healthy

Here at Meyer Orthodontics, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and help to keep our patients, staff, and our community healthy. We are continuing the safety measures we currently have in place but are now utilizing new technology to keep our office clean.

Ultraviolet Lights

At the end of each day we utilize high powered Ultraviolet Lights that are capable of destroying viruses that could be sitting on surfaces or in the air. We are able to test these lights using a UVC Dosimeter Card that can detect the amount of energy released in the lights.

Air Purifier

We have also added the Medify Air Purifier. This Air Purifier is capable of cleaning 5,000 square feet of air every hour! It utilizes three levels of filter to help filter our 99.97% of particles down to the size fo 0.1 microns. This means it collects not only virus carrying particles but also allergens, dust, bacteria, and any odors. 

As we get used to living in this Covid-19 world, we continue to find ways to help our office stay adaptable and allow us to still create beautiful smiles!
